Process:
1.
A passenger that does not carry an Israeli passport
must fill an entering
form upon arriving Israel – before going through the
passport check. (Make sure you have all the proper papers – passport,
visa, and other certificates as required.)
2. You may seek assistance with the
Automated Answering Service
3. There are two separate areas (one for Israeli
passport-holders, the other for foreign-passport holders) in the
passport-check zone. Be sure to stand in the right-line. (You are
welcome to read the information paper distributed to you while
waiting.)
4. Group service is available at the “Smile” counter,
located in the passengers’ hall – past the passport-check point.
5. The Israeli Ministry of Tourism office is located in
the arrival hall – past the passport-check point.

Process:
1. Make sure to arrive
with all required papers. It is recommended to arrive three hours
before the planned time of takeoff, and to approach the security zone
for security checks.
2. Check what Terminal &
gate you are flying from.
3. Security checks are
carried separately for Israeli-passport holders and for
foreign-passport holders. (No sharp instruments are allowed. Such
instruments should be packed in luggage that is mechanically carried
off into the airplane and not carried by the person.)
4. The passenger
checks-in at the given ariline-counter. (If you filled the form upon
arriving Israel – present it upon departing.) Load your luggage.
5. Moves to Terminal 1 –
to the Departing Passengers’ Hall & the Duty-Free zone

Vat Refund
VAT refund is available – Tourists who purchase
merchandise worth $50 or more in shops that are registered with the
Ministry of Tourism are eligible for %5 discount and VAT refund upon
leaving the country. The refund can be received at the Departation
Hall at the “Change Place” counter, where you will need to show the
merchandise and the receipt(s). Refund is in US dollars.
Traveling with Babies
Playing room for parents with babies is available at the
departing passengers’ hall. Entering the room requires pressing a bell
and having the stewardess alerted. |
